Used Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor?

Hi, I've always wanted to get a used Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor once I get my license, but right now I know that Ford had discontinued the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor so I am a little worried if they might be rare once I turn 15 and 9 months. As of now I am 13 ( I am turning 14 in March) and I wanted to know, will I be able to get my dream car? Almost every week I check on ebay to look at the CVPI's but they are gone so fast. Will 2013 have any Crown Victoria's left. I always wanted an all black one with black rims and a spot light. Thanks.Used Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor?
Start saving up. I bought one that was 10 years old for $3,000 (probably overpaid). 5 or 6 years old will probably be around $5,000-$6,000. Stick to state highway patrol cars, which tend to be better maintained, and avoid local departments, which abuse their cars. If the car smells like a dog, it was a K-9 unit and the smell will never go away. If the car has carpeted floors instead of plastic, it was probably an administrative car and used more gently. I would buy straight from a department; I bought mine from a private owner and spent $1800 on the steering %26amp; brakes the first year I owned it.

Someone needs to tell you this: if you're a male between the ages of 16 and 60, you're going to attract unwanted attention from cops if you drive a Crown Victoria, regardless of the trim package. If you're white, the average cop thinks you're a police impersonator, and if you're black or latino, he thinks you're a drug dealer or gang member. I'm sorry but that's just the way it is. I'm white and I've been pulled over once and checked out, asked if I had guns, police badges, etc.

If you really love Ford's panther platform, get a Mercury Grand Marquis or a Lincoln Town Car. Much more luxurious and if you don't pimp it out with big chrome wheels and tinted windows, the cops will likely leave you alone.
yes but they'll be used pretty good. The general problem is most ex police interceptors have all ready been beat to hell, so if you get one make sure you have a good reserve of $$$$ to fix/replace the engine and everything if/when it finally falls apartUsed Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor?
You do know that if it is an ex-police car, they are required to remove the special chip in the computer.

They aren't worth buying but if that's what you want, go for it when you get older!
these cars are a dime a dozen and plentiful on the used car market

dont worry, a nice one will be ready for you to buy when its time, you will just need to look for itUsed Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor?
You're 13/14, so in two years or so, you'll be ready....So, look at the 3 to 4 year old P71's on e-bay...Not a bad selection !!
Go online
Don't worry, there are hundreds of thousands of these cars around, it will be easy to find one at any time in the foreseeable future. If you can't get a P71 then you can opt for a civy model with the Handling/Performance Package. The HPP has most of the Interceptor bits, like dual exhaust, HD torque converter, 3.27 gears, transmission cooler, HD suspension ,etc.

Contrary to popular belief there is no special "chip" or anything. The P71's have the same amount of power as the Civy HPP model. The P71 does have the governor raised to about 130 MPH Vs. 107 for the civy model, because the P71 has a composite driveshaft and the civy model has a standard steel driveshaft that tends to vibrate alot at triple digit speeds.
