Just bought a used car, has needed repairs since purchase and warranty almost up.. what can i do?

Have only had the vehicle for approx 9 days, the remaining time has been with dealer who is trying to "source" parts. When i get it back, my warranty will be over. Am i entitled to any compensation, or extended warranty from the dealer? How do i know if i have bought a lemon? Also, have been without a car since I purchased it, and am paying my repayments for a vehicle that I don't have as it's continually needing fixing. Live in Victoria, Australia.Just bought a used car, has needed repairs since purchase and warranty almost up.. what can i do?
if you have paid seek legal advice, keep a detailed log of occurrences and do not inform dealer that you have sought advice, consumer affairs victoria will give free advice over the phone , if you have not paid return the vehicle and refuse to buy itJust bought a used car, has needed repairs since purchase and warranty almost up.. what can i do?
If your car was at the dealer for (say) 10 days, you'll probably get that much max (if ever). Whatever work they have done will have it's own warranty on labor and parts.

Too late to worry about having bought a lemon.
