Do these cars use the same Modular V8 engine that the Mustang use?

Lincoln Towncar, Grand Marquis, Crown Vic, also Marauder?

And what engine from ford is better the Windsor V8 or the Modular V8 installed in the Crown Vic and Grand Marquis?

And will Ford build a Brand New Crown Victoria in the future

wit a new chassis on a new platform or will they just keep using the panther platform?Do these cars use the same Modular V8 engine that the Mustang use?
I would have to look at the vin numbers to tell you for sure but a modular is either a romeo or winsor.... It's how the cross main bolts, bolt in as well as some other structual changes, but I've seen the basic blocks used in almost everything from f-150s on down to the Mustangs

The Marauder was a 32 valve 4.6 as found in some special edition Mustangs but I beleive was slightly detuned

My experience shows that both engines if taken care of last the same amount... I've seen Crown vic engines have 300k worth of running time on the engine already still going (In police service .. Basically a car with 30k has about 25k miles of run time on it idling)

It's up in the air on the CV.. some say Ford will discontinue it in favor of making the taurus the large vehicle, others rumor to a australian design import, while others hint to it being a offshoot of the mustang if I remember.Do these cars use the same Modular V8 engine that the Mustang use?
yes they are the same engines. some may be the 4 valve version such as the marauder and some police interceptor packages in the crown vic.Do these cars use the same Modular V8 engine that the Mustang use?
